Wang Thai New Menu
Wang Thai would like to introduce to you its new menu. As leaders in Thai dining experiences, we have kept the well-loved classics and introduced new interactive and interesting Thai dishes suited to the South African palate. We have added more traditional Thai food often not represented in restaurants but common among Thai locals with a twist of incorporating the local meats such as Kudu and Ostrich.
We hoped to create a new menu that reflects our unique insight into Authentic Thai cuisine, bringing in dishes exclusive to us to once again differentiate ourselves from other Thai restaurants. We asked the Thai chefs to prepare dishes that are special to them, perfected their recipes and rolled it out in store. The feedback was has been great.
We added a light meals section to enhance the dining experience for a larger market. Light meals are light, tasty and made with the freshest ingredients perfect for lunch, sundowners or snacks.
We removed certain dishes as they did not reflect significant sales. At Wang Thai, we believe in keeping our Thai dishes as Authentic as possible therefore instead of altering a flavor of a dish, we rather replace it with something we believe will better match our customers taste. The dishes introduced add more to be menu in terms of flavour, creativity, fragrance and interactivity.
Highlights of the new menu:
Roti Song Sri (Thai Roti)
Flavour rich traditional green curry and yellow curry served with crispy and slightly sweet Thai Roti triangles.
Khanom Jean Sarm Ros (3 Sauce Rice Spaghetti)
Craft your own dish by filling green leaves with a combination of the following ingredients: rice spaghetti nests, mint, basil, coriander and finishing it off with a choice of fish curry, Thai chicken bolognaise and peanut curry sauce.
Sweet Butternut Custard
A traditional Thai custard enhanced with sweet butternut pieces.
